Cara install WP (wordpress) Mu

Kemaren kemaren sempet puyeng gara2 masalah ini, yaitu bagai mana caranya untuk install WP MU di Cpanel.
Udah keliling2 dari mulai searching2 di forum tercinta seperti ; adsense-id ampe Jisportal teteup kagak nemu jawabanya…

Pada akhirnya nemu juga dan berikut penjelasanya :

Install

1. Download and unzip the WordPress MU package, if you haven’t already. The unzipped files will be created in a directory named “wordpressmu” followed by a version number.
2. Create a database for WordPress MU on your web server, as well as a MySQL user who has all privileges for accessing and modifying it.
3. Unzip to an empty folder, either in the main directory, or in a subdirectory. If you want subdomain blogs, you must use the root of your site.
4. Make sure your install directory and the wp-contents directory are writeable by the webserver.
5. Run the WordPress MU installation script by accessing index.php in your favorite web browser.
- If you installed WordPress MU in the root directory, you should visit: http://example.com/index.php
- If you installed WordPress MU in its own subdirectory called blogs, for example, you should visit: http://example.com/blogs/index.php

Begitulah, ato lbh jelasnya baca tuh readme pada yang ada di folder WP MU yang telah kita download, hehehe

Beberapa menit kemudian, jadi juga tuh WP MU diinstall. tapi ternyata bener kata orang gak semudah itu cara installnya, karena setelah prosess installasi itu sukses ada lagi kendala yang harus dihadapi yaitu kita diharuskan untuk mengaktifkan wildcard dns dari domain itu sehingga subdomain yang kita create tadi bisa diakes . anda gak usah bingung cara mengaktifkannya, cos yang anda butuhkan adalah kontak provider hostinganya

uppppppppsss, tunggu dulu, coz saya punya trik lagi neh cara mengaktifkan wildcard dns untuk membuat WP MU begini;

Wildcard DNS, what is it and how do I use it?

Wildcard DNS makes it so that any subdomain redirects to your main website.

So, if anyone types randomjunk.domain.com or fakename.domain.com, it will go to _http://domain.com/ .

You can add this record via cPanel by following these steps:

* Go into your cPanel, go to Subdomains.
* Add a subdomain called *
* Make sure to set the document root to your public_html folder.
